Thank you for your interest in being my canvas for the Forty Mile Tattoo Convention!
Please read the following information before submitting your application.
The convention takes place July 25th, 26th and 27th, at the hard rock hotel convention center in Wheatland California.
The most important thing to remember when signing up for this convention, is I aim to compete. That being said, typically I need somebody that will sit 2-3 days in a row, 8 or so hours each day. I will provide numbing cream if needed, but please do not apply for this convention if you are not 100% confident that you can sit multiple days in a row, and are okay with the inevitable tattoo flu that will follow. It is recommended that you take an editions; day after finishing to rest and recover. Also please note that multiple applications of numbing cream usually results in a lot of touch up work, so you will most likely need to come back to me in the future to get a little more work done on it.
I’m looking for a project that really show cases my strengths and attention to detail. If you don’t already know, that’s usually female faces, florals, and anything with fine detail. Definitely more of a feminine, ethereal vibe.
I won’t be taking just any project on. I’ll only choose what I think is the best option to hopefully get some awards.
I need clear, tight, smooth skin, without blemishes, stretch marks, scars or sun damage. Ideally an arm, thigh, upper back or chest.
I’ll need a lot of creative freedom, so please don’t apply if you don’t have faith in me. Obviously your input is important too, so we can talk about details as well.,but ultimately I need to be able to do my thing.
Since this will be back to back sessions, my rate will be discounted to $1000 per day, due at the end of each day. A $500 deposit is required if we want to lock it in. The deposit will be applied as a credit to the last session.
If these terms work and you want to apply, please copy and paste the following questions and your answers into an email, and send it to April.rayne.tattoos@gmail.com
Please allow me a couple days to review all the applications.
Even if your project is not selected, feel free to come join the fun! Stop by for a visit and some entertainment.
Thank you again for your interest and I’m excited to hear about your project!
